Why it’s so easy to forget

The stove is the classic “did I?” worry because the stakes feel high and the action is tiny. A reminder at the door turns a nagging doubt into a two-second check.

Set it up in under a minute

  1. Tap Add to Forgettable below, or open the app and choose Quick set-up.
  2. 🔥 Stove off is already ticked. Add any others you like.
  3. Set Home once, with “Current location” or by typing your address. Every leaving reminder uses it.
  4. Tap Add and allow notifications and location “Always”.
  5. When you leave, you get “Leaving Home? Did you check: Stove off”, even when the app is closed.
Tip: Add a photo of the knobs in the off position. It's the fastest way to calm the worry later.
